ForYouPage.Org is built on the values of agency, authenticity, and openness. We are a fully youth-led collective, and our operational structure is designed to distribute power, encourage collaboration, and maintain accountability to our community.

Moral Compass

Independent Anonymous Youth Decision Board

Composed of anonymous youth leaders from diverse backgrounds, this board serves as our guiding conscience. It holds veto power on major decisions to ensure we always stay true to our mission and values.

The Core Engine

The Operation Team

This is the team of direct builders who run FYP's day-to-day work. It's composed of Associates, who have voting rights, and Assistants. Leadership is shared through a rotating Operation Manager (OM) role to distribute responsibility.

The Movement

The FYP Community

Our community is the lifeblood of the movement. You engage with our work and drive change through our core products: the FYP Wiki, our annual Events, our online communities, and our research initiatives.

How Decisions Are Made

Strategic Decisions

Major strategic decisions are led by the FYP Principle and require consensus among all voting FYP Associates, subject to review by the Independent Board.

Operational Decisions

Day-to-day decisions are managed by the Operation Team, with consultation from relevant team members to ensure our work is agile and effective.

Open Proposals

Any FYP member can propose changes or new ideas. We believe in harnessing the collective intelligence of our community to grow and evolve.

Our Commitment to Accountability

Peer Support & Shared Responsibility

We believe in collective accountability. Associates are responsible for their tasks and for supporting each other. Our peer support system allows any member to initiate a supportive intervention if they see a teammate struggling.

The Strike System

To ensure progress, we have a clear and fair strike system. If an incomplete task affects other members' work, it may result in a strike. Three strikes trigger a supportive intervention to address challenges and get back on track.

Formal Review

For serious violations of our Code of Conduct, a Standard Committee is formed to conduct a formal, confidential investigation, ensuring that integrity and safety are always maintained.
